This is a great post. Sure, as consumers, we ought to be informed of the changes that are being made.

Good to see @feedly and @backtype responded. Better is the fact there are vigil 'skeptic' geeks like you who time to time take cudgels on behalf of the consumer.

Apologies, Mahendra! Updating the FAQ was on a long list of things to do and admittedly got lost in the mix — it should have been the first thing we did. In the future, we'll be sure to update any documentation/communication on the site before removing any features.

Hi Mahendra. Mea Culpa. We consistently monitor what parts of feedly users use/not use and continuously add/remove features. We will try to be more transparent/better communicate about the changes we make.
